Wear the dot - Spread the word

We’re launching an awareness campaign across the UK to:

  • promote the existence of the PDT to all frontline colleagues
  • encourage referral of colleagues in need
  • reach everyone medically retired to tell them help is available

There are posters on their way to you now, and we’d be grateful if you could send them through internal post to stations and operational units across the service for them to put on noticeboards. If you need some more, just reply and we’ll get them to you straight away.

To help spread the word, we’ve launched the orange dot - our version of the urgent assistance button on the top of a police radio.

With more than 19 frontline colleagues suffering harm across the UK every day, we need your help to spread the word, make sure colleagues are registering with us at www.pdtrust.org, and are getting the practical, emotional, and financial support they need.

As always, if we can help with anything, or you have someone you think needs our help, you can call our welfare team on 020 8941 6907 during office hours.

Thank you,
